Lynne Nostrant is vice president of e-Commerce Payment Service Management for e-Visa International. Nostrant is responsible for developing and managing the consumer e-Commerce delivery channel and reports directly to Philip Yen, the Executive Vice President of e-Visa International.e-Visa International is the business unit of Visa International focused on driving the growth of global electronic and mobile commerce and extending Visa's leadership role in web-based payments. This business unit is tasked with developing Visa's global policies and strategies for access and delivery of payment services via multiple channels, including the Internet, mobile phones, consumer devices, point-of-sale terminals, and ATMs. Specifically, Nostrant is tasked with development of global rules and policy for use of consumer products on the Internet, as well as identification and resolution of issues. As the architect of global consumer product rules, she is primary liaison to executives around the world in Visa's six Regions, Asia Pacific, Canada, CEMEA (Central Europe, Middle East and Africa), European Region, Latin America and the Caribbean, and the United States.
Prior to her appointment to this position, Nostrant was assigned to the Europe, Middle East, Africa Region (EMEA) and worked in London in the Consumer Products division. Since joining Visa in 1983, Nostrant has worked in a variety of positions, including Director of Travel & Entertainment Market Development for Visa USA, Director of Global Customer Assistance Services for Visa International, and Operating Regulations. Prior to joining Visa, Nostrant was an officer in the credit card divisions of two major California banks.
Nostrant holds a BA degree from California State University, Northridge, in English Literature.
